Michel Bissonnette named as Lalande’s replacement

CBC/Radio-Canada announced that Michel Bissonnette would be taking over as executive vice-president of French services at Radio-Canada. Bissonnette will succeed Louis Lalande, who announced his upcoming retirement in June. In a Wednesday press release, the public broadcaster said the choice was made by a selection committee that included CBC president Hubert Lacroix. To join Radio-Canada, Bissonnette is stepping down from his post as president at Zone3 Inc., which he co-founded in 2000, on Friday. The release said he begins in his new role on Jan. 9....
