Bart Yabsley to head up Rogers’ Sportsnet property

Bart Yabsley has been appointed as the new president of Sportsnet, filling a role left vacant when Scott Moore stepped down from that position last fall. Scott Moore to head Sportsnet and NHL at Rogers

Scott Moore has been appointed president of Sportsnet and NHL at Rogers Communications Inc.'s media division, the company said in a release Thursday. Rogers said Moore would leverage “the company’s cable, wireless and suite of media assets to deliver world-class hockey and sports experiences to fans across the country.” Moore was previously president of broadcast at Rogers Media, the release said, adding the appointment is effective immediately.
