Union-backed ads call for SaskTel status quo

A union representing Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corp. employees has launched an advertising campaign calling for Premier Brad Wall to abandon any idea of selling the telecom. In a press release Thursday, Unifor — which represents about 3,800 SaskTel workers — said the radio ads “highlight the unequalled value of having a publicly-owned carrier in Saskatchewan.
