Netflix lowers Canadian bit rate for next 30 days

Netflix Inc. has announced it will lower its bit rate in Canada by 25 per cent for the next 30 days, just days after three telecommunications associations publicly urged the streaming giant to lower rates to lessen network congestion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
