Cogeco sued by former Quebec politician

Former Quebec deputy premier Nathalie Normandeau is suing Cogeco Inc.’s media division for wrongful dismissal, according to media reports. Radio-Canada reported Monday that Normandeau has filed a lawsuit with Quebec’s Superior Court after she said she learned through the media that she was suspended without pay from her radio co-hosting gig following her March 17 arrest as part of a sweep by the province’s anti-corruption unit, UPAC (Unité permanente anti-corruption).
