Powermat Technologies Ltd., a New York-based maker of public charging stations for mobile devices, said Tuesday that it has appointed former BlackBerry Ltd. CEO Thorsten Heins as its new CEO and chairman. Its outgoing CEO and founder Ran Poliakine will remain with the company as vice-chairman, Powermat said in a press release.
