Trish Williams joins CBC

Trish Williams is moving from Temple Street Productions to CBC/Radio-Canada, where she will be CBC’s new executive director of scripted content.
Starting this week, she will “oversee our drama, comedy, film and scripted production planning teams across all broadcast and streaming original long-form programming,” Sally Catto, CBC’s general manager of programming, said in a message to staff.
Before joining Temple Street, Williams worked at BCE Inc.’s Bell Media, including as director of drama.
