SaskTel sale off the table, Wall says

The premier of Saskatchewan said Monday that the province will not pursue the sale of its telecommunications crown corporation, according to a report in the Canadian Press.
Brad Wall said last year that the province would hold a referendum on whether to pursue a suitable offer for Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corp. Alluding to the public not wanting its sale, Wall took it off the table.
“They’re not interested in a referendum. They’re not interested in the potential sale of SaskTel,” he said as the legislature returned for spring,
