BCE Inc.'s Bell Media said Wednesday that Tom Hastings has been named its director of independent production. The company said in a press release that Hastings was already a production executive in this division. He is replacing Trish Williams, who is becoming co-executive producer of the CTV original series Saving Hope, Bell Media said.
