Gary Kunis has been appointed CTO of Nortel Networks Corp., taking over from Brian McFadden, who had only served in the position for a few months. McFadden has been appointed as chief research officer. Kunis is the former chief science officer at Cisco Systems Inc., a position he held in 2002.
