Newcap reports Q3 loss on LPIF cancellation

Broadcast company Newfoundland Capital Corporation Ltd. (Newcap) reported a net loss during the third quarter of 2012 mostly due to the CRTC's decision to phase out the Local Programming Improvement Fund (LPIF) for local television, the company said.
