OPC stresses mandatory breach reporting with new guidelines

The federal privacy watchdog Tuesday published its guidance for private businesses to abide by mandatory reporting of data breaches in order to stay compliant under the federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
