CRTC rejects Stingray COVID relief request, orders broadcaster to pay $9M in tangible benefits

The CRTC has denied an application from Stingray Group Inc. for relief from payments the company owes to the broadcasting sector known as “tangible benefits payments,” to the tune of some $9 million.
