Ericsson and Eastlink extend 5G deal while Rogers slashes prices

Swedish telecom manufacturer Ericsson AB and Bragg Communications Inc.’s Eastlink division announced Thursday that they had signed a three-year extension to an existing 10-year contract for 5G deployment. The European firm will supply 3500 MHz mid-band radios and enhanced core network support for Eastlink’s 5G network.
