Script coordinators get Writers Guild, IATSE coverage

The Writers Guild of Canada (WGC) and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) have reached an agreement on representation of script coordinators on television and film projects. The script coordinator is an entry level position in the industry, responsible for a variety of duties such as formatting and distribution of scripts as well as more creative efforts like script polishing. Many of the people working in the sector are Black, Indigenous or People of Colour (BIPOC).
