Quebec, E.U., provide templates for AI rules: INDU committee told

Canada should look to other jurisdictions when it comes to regulating artificial intelligence, the House of Commons Industry Committee was told Thursday. The panel is examining Bill C-27, which encompasses the Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CPPA), the Personal Information and Data Protection Tribunal Act (PIDPTA) and the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA).
