He shoots, he scorns! CBC dropping Hockey Night in Canada after 95 years

Rogers Communications Inc. property Sportsnet and CBC/Radio-Canada announced Tuesday they are ending their partnership to carry NHL hockey after a dozen years. The deal was finalized with the coverage of this year’s Stanley Cup final.
