Non-Rogers customers to pay extra for Sportsnet+ broadcasts

Rogers Communications Inc. issued a press release Wednesday touting its new Sportsnet+ “at no additional cost, including over 150 NHL games.” The fine print is that the deal is only available to subscribers to the Rogers system. Those who get their television service from other providers will have to pony up another $12.99 a month.
