CRTC requires static IP addresses on wholesale

The CRTC announced Tuesday that it will require incumbent cable carriers Cogeco Cable Inc., Rogers Communications Inc., Shaw Communications Inc., and Videotron Ltd. to allow third-party reseller Internet service providers (ISPs) to offer static IP addresses to customers.
