Liberals pause move for new charter analysis of C-10

A House of Commons Heritage committee debate on whether or not to have the Government’s update to the broadcasting Broadcasting Act sent back to the Minister of Justice for charter compliance review — after it removed a clause that critics feel would bring individual social media users content under regulation and hinder their freedom of expression — was put on hold after Liberals moved to adjourn the debate.
