St-Onge cites professor to quiet Conservative MP on online bills

Conservative MP Rachael Thomas brought a motion before the House of Commons Industry Committee Thursday regarding the government’s Online News Act and Online Streaming Act. The Liberals, Bloc Québécois, and New Democrat MPs on the panel voted to defeat it. In Question Period a few hours later, the Alberta MP kept up her fight.
