SaskTel expands wireless service in northern Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corp. announced Thursday two new cell towers serving the communities of Wollaston Lake and Fond-du-Lac First Nation, both located in northern Saskatchewan, are now operational. It said in a press release that for the $6 million project, SaskTel partnered with Athabasca Basin Development, an investment company which contributed $249,000, and with the Canadian division of Huawei Technologies Co.
