ENCQOR test bed ‘up and running’

A wireless network announced last year that allows small- and medium-sized businesses to test 5G technology is now operational, according to a press release. The ENCQOR 5G test bed, part of a public-private partnership to foster 5G technology research in Ontario and Quebec, is the “first pre-commercial fifth-generation wireless network for open innovation in Canada,” the Ontario Centres of Excellence said in Wednesday’s release.
