A group representing American telecom companies has petitioned the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to reconsider the broadband privacy rules the United States regulator imposed last year. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has granted its approval to the merger of Charter Communications Inc., Time Warner Cable Inc. and Bright House Networks LLC, the regulator said in a press release Friday.
