The Canadian Media Fund said Tuesday it is contributing $6.1 million toward 12 projects as part of its aboriginal program. The CMF said in a press release that the funding will go towards five productions for children and youth, five documentaries and two dramas. It said Quebec has five of these projects, Manitoba and British Columbia are each home to two, Alberta and Nunavut each have one, and there is one cross-boundary production between B.C. and Nunavut.
