DHX Media Ltd. said Wednesday that it has reached a long-term deal with toymaker Mattel Inc. to produce and develop content based on brands such as Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Little People and Polly Pocket. DHX said in a news release that the two companies will work together on the development, production and international distribution of such content, created for both television and online platforms.
