Google Inc., in partnership with TP-LINK Technologies Co. Ltd., announced Tuesday it is launching a new WiFi router that it says will provide faster and more efficient Internet connections. OnHub, the router that looks like a black cup, has a “unique antenna design … [which] searches the airwaves and selects the best channel for the fastest connection,” Google said in a blog post. The router’s internal software runs in the background “automatically adjusting OnHub to avoid interference and keep your network at peak performance,” the company said.
