Telus Corp. announced Wednesday it is buying the rights to electronic prescription software from Quebec-based ZoomMed Inc. The ZRx Prescriber software from ZoomMed allows doctors to write prescriptions and look up insurance information electronically using a mobile device, and the platform will now be a part of the Telus’s growing healthcare division, according to a news release from the telecom company.
