Proxy advisors, Manitoba gov’t back Bell-MTS deal

An independent proxy advisory company has backed the takeover of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. by BCE Inc., MTS said in a Tuesday press release. International Shareholder Services (ISS) is recommending MTS shareholders vote in favour of the $3.9-billion deal at their June 23 meeting in Winnipeg, the release said.
