CRTC commissioner Raj Shoan is asking that the affidavit of John Traversy, outgoing secretary general of the commission, be struck from the record in a Federal Court case — in which he's fighting a finding that he harassed an employee — because Traversy has not made himself available for a cross-examination. Alternatively, Shoan asked that CRTC Chairman Jean-Pierre Blais be subject to a cross-examination instead to back up the affidavit from Traversy that was sworn Aug. 27.
