Cogeco Cable Inc. said Monday that Patrice Ouimet has been made the company's new chief financial officer, effective immediately. The position became vacant in July after Pierre Gagne left the company for what was described by Cogeco as "personal reasons." Cogeco said in a press release Monday that Ouimet's previous job was as chief financial officer at Enerkem Inc., a Montreal-based biofuels maker. It said he's also been vice-president of corporate development for Gildan Activewear Inc., and spent 10 years in the banking industry with companies such as Lazard Ltd. and CIBC World Markets Inc....
