Pelmorex sells Weather Network commercial division

Pelmorex Media Inc. has sold its Weather Network commercial services division to European weather forecasting company MeteoGroup, the companies said in a press release. The division has provided weather information “to many of Canada’s largest public and private sector organizations for the past 20 years,” including the transportation, energy and natural resources sectors, the companies said in a press release Thursday.
