Former BlackBerry Ltd. CEO Thorsten Heins was the third-highest paid executive in 2013 among wireless companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges, according to the website FierceWireless. Based on filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the website said Heins received total compensation of $22 million US in 2013.
