Wireless coverage improvements coming to site of G7 summit

In anticipation of the G7 summit in June, the federal government will have 13 cell towers built to increase coverage for the area near host Charlevoix, Que, a release on Monday revealed.
Announced by local MP Richard Hébert and Families minister Jean‑Yves Duclos, spending will be “close to $15 million” to build out in the regions around Highways 138, 170 and 362 which connect Quebec City, La Malbaie and Bagotville.
The infrastructure will remain after the meeting is completed, the release noted.
