The Canadian Media Fund has announced it is hiring former Heritage Canada strategist Kelly Wilhelm to a newly created role of chief strategy officer. According to a release, Wilhelm will be “tasked with contributing to setting the future trajectory of the CMF, with a specific focus on innovation through the lens of industry-wide disruption and opportunities for growth.” Before her time at Heritage Canada, Wilhelm spent 10 years at the Canada Council for the Arts, most recently as director of policy, planning and strategic foresight. “Kelly’s passion and dedication to Canadian culture, coupled with her experience and deep knowledge of the media landscape will be an asset to the CMF and the industry we serve,” CMF president and CEO Valerie Creighton said in a press release....
