Bell and Bloomberg in bed for business network rebrand

BCE Inc.’s Bell Media and Bloomberg LP have announced a joint effort to resuscitate the American financial brand’s Canadian TV presence, with a release on Monday outlining the details of a rebrand of Bell’s business channel, BNN, to BNN Bloomberg. The two have a history of rivalry. After Bloomberg’s business news channel launched in Canada in 2015, Bell refused to carry Bloomberg TV Canada, which competed directly with BNN.
