Bridging the Financial Literacy Gap

Startup Canada will present Bridging the Financial Literacy Gap, the first of its 2013 Live Series events that focus on hot button issues within startup communities to advance Canadian entrepreneurship. Startup Canada said the event will be live-streamed from the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Management Centre for Executive Leadership. Speakers will include Maxime Bernier, minister of state for small business and Jeff Cates, managing director at Intuit Canada. The event will also feature a panel discussion with participants from the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, the MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund and the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education.
