BC government seeks higher standards for NG911 deployment

The province of British Columbia has filed a Part 1 application with the CRTC over the rollout of next-generation 911 (NG911) service. Conceding that its jurisdiction is limited, the government stressed that emergency service must be of the highest quality and available at all times.
