Manitoba premier calls for shortening of emergency service outage notification window

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew has sent a letter to federal Industry Minister Mélanie Joly asking that she direct the CRTC to shorten the timeframe in which telecom service providers (TSPs) must inform emergency organizations that a 911 phone service outage has occurred.
