Canada and British Columbia fund high-speed internet rollout in province

Monday the federal government and the government of British Columbia joined forces to spend $37 million on 14 high-speed internet projects in the province. Canada’s Minister of Rural Economic Development Gudie Hutchings and provincial Minister of Citizens’ Services George Chow made the announcement in Chemainus, BC. The federal money comes from the Universal Broadband Fund.
