Music Canada has reached a settlement with isoHunt Web Technologies Inc. in a copyright infringement lawsuit, years after the isoHunt website shut down. The organization, which represents major record companies in Canada, said in a press release Monday that under the settlement, isoHunt and its founder, Gary Fung, are liable for a total of $65 million in damages. The settlement ends a lawsuit launched by 26 recording companies that began in 2010. The website stopped operating in 2013.
