Tata Communications Ltd. announced Tuesday it has partnered with Asian Television Network International Ltd. to launch a new over-the-top (OTT) service. ATN will use Tata’s cloud-based platform to deliver a mix of South Asian news, sports and entertainment content “in an intuitive app format,” Tata said in a press release. The release said the content will be available on platforms such as Apple Inc.’s iOS and Apple TV, Google Inc.’s Android, Roku Inc.’s Roku TV, Amazon.com Inc.’s Amazon Fire TV, and smart TVs.
