Shaw readies for network enhancements with price hike

Shaw Communications Inc. will raise its rates starting Aug. 1, which will affect “select residential Internet, TV and phone plans,” the company said in a customer bulletin posted to its website.
“Customers can expect to see a rate adjustment of [up to $5] for television, approximately $2-$3 for Internet and $1 for phone services depending on the services they subscribe to," Chethan Lakshman, Shaw’s vice-president of public relations and corporate communications, said in an email statement Wednesday.
