Shaw founder JR Shaw dies at 85

Shaw Communications Inc. founder JR Shaw has passed away at the age of 85, the company said Tuesday. Shaw founded Capital Cable Television Co. Ltd in 1966, which eventually as Shaw Communications grew into Canada’s largest TV service provider.
