Multi-channel networks (MCNs) have carved out a space in the online video ecosystem in recent years, leading traditional broadcasters to move into MCNs as a relatively low-risk way to reach younger demographics — though there is some question about the ability to monetize such investments. Bell Media makes two VP appointments

BCE Inc.’s Bell Media division on Thursday announced Nanci MacLean as the new vice-president of production and Justin Stockman as the vice-president of specialty channels. The company said in a press release the appointments come in the wake of the departure of Rick Brace as president of specialty channels and CTV production late last year. Both MacLean and Stockman have been with Bell for more than a decade, the company said.
