Default credentials factor in hospital software security breaches: McAfee

Default accounts on hospital systems using free software contributed to a significant increase in publicly-reported security incidents at medical centres around the world, a new report from computer security company McAfee has found.
The March study discovered those incidents were up 210 per cent compared to the previous year, despite a 78 per cent decrease in the fourth quarter.
