House committee to study wireless exposure guidelines

The House of Commons health committee agreed Thursday to study its guidelines regarding human exposure to signals transmitted to and from wireless devices. The minutes of a meeting held Thursday show the committee approved a budget of $15,200 to undertake a review of Health Canada Safety Code 6. Code 6 provides a number of technical provisions around human exposure to wireless signals, and is intended to be followed by people working at federal sites.
