Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. on Thursday named four new vice-presidents that it said will help lead "the transformation of Canada's largest alternative telecommunications service provider." It said in a press release that Walter Andri is the new senior vice-president of sales, following his time in different executive functions at Telus Corp. and its Koodo discount brand, as well as helping to launch BCE Inc.'s Virgin Mobile in Canada. Bradley Fisher was named senior vice-president of marketing and products. He was previously senior vice-president of strategy and marketing for Hawaiian Telecom and also held a variety of positions at Bell, Primus said. Peter Garand will become Primus Canada's senior vice-president of client experience. Before coming to Primus, Garand was a senior executive at Sigma Systems and has also been a vice-president at Rogers Communications Inc., the company's release said. Tamara Flemington was appointed vice-president of information services and project management at Primus Canada. Primus said she was previous involved in developing and setting up the technology that got Mobilicity started, and also held senior IT roles at Telus. The executives are led by Michael Nowlan, who was named Primus Canada's CEO in January.
