US files charges against Huawei in two cases

The U.S. Department of Justice filed a highly-anticipated criminal case against Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. Monday, issuing a spate of charges against the company, two affiliates and its chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou, along with several other unnamed individuals — and followed that up with a second equally-staggering case in another U.S. district court.
