Cogeco expects to enter mobile rate negotiations by spring, summer 2022 earliest

Cogeco Inc.’s CEO said it is a multi-step process it has to follow before it can enter the mobile market — with its  38 new spectrum licences, purchased  for $295 million, from the 3500 MHz spectrum auction — and expects to enter into negotiations over wireless rates with incumbents by spring/summer 2022 at the earliest, once the CRTC finalizes the framework.
